Description
The ignition system is an often overseen part of any motor rebuild project. Originally conceived by PIAGGIO the Capacitor Discharge Ignition (CDI) unit is now produced by the Indian manufacturer LML and enables a simple way to optimise your combustion process and therefore increase performance.
The LML CDI ignition unit impresses with a higher ignition voltage and produces a more powerful spark, even at low revolutions. Instead of just 90 sparks, 95 sparks per 100 revolutions are produced by the LML CDI unit, offering you more performance while saving fuel at the same time! Combustion chamber deposits are also eliminated. This CDI unit and the electronic regulator correspond in size, shape and build exactly to the original PIAGGIO items, so, it is literally plug and play! Although it was originally developed for PX/T5 VESPA models, it is compatible with all VESPA electronic ignition motors.
