PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This aftermarket set is the closest in size we could find to the genuine size LML parts, the rollers and belt on the LML star auto engines are a unique size only made for the LML scooter, the standard rollers sizes are 18 x 12.3mm 8g and the rollers in this set are 17 x 12mm 8.7g also the belt is different size, a standard belt is 725mm long where's the belt in this set is 700mm long, all these parts will fit and you would not notice a huge difference in day to day running except possibly top speed flat out might be a touch slower.

We do sell the standard LML Belt and rollers but stock is limited to when we can still find them and they cost more.

The variator weights play a very central "role" in the tuning of a variomatic. In principle, the lighter the roller sets are, the more speed is needed to push the rollers outwards by centrifugal force and thus trigger the "switching process". Heavy rollers require less speed to set the physics in motion. Therefore, the scooter with light castors only starts at a higher starting speed, while with heavy castors it can already start at a lower speed.

Everyone has to find the preferred starting speed for themselves, as this can vary subjectively. In addition, it also depends on the degree of tuning, the weight of the rider, etc., which weights work best.

TOP-TIP! By changing the variator rollers, each scooter can be adjusted very specifically to the respective engine power or driving distance. However, it should be noted: The more aggressively the engine is tuned, the more sensitively your scooter will react to variations in the weight of the rollers. So do not use too different weights! Nevertheless, the following applies: Exact vario tuning definitely pays off so that the engine does not waste its power unnecessarily in revs (weights that are too light) or does not develop a trigger by shifting too early (weights that are too heavy).
