PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Even the largest of carbs cannot function to its full potential on a PX motor, without a sufficient supply of fresh air being immediately available. Help is at hand from air box cover for Standard carburettor-box that provides a 20% increase in total volume for your air box. This provides your motor with an improved throttle response and more power in the lower end of the rev range.
DRT has now also taken on this idea. A strong carburettor-box gasket surface spacer raises the overall height of the carburettor-box, so leading to the greater volume. Another gimmick: By using the DRT Spacer the bigger T5 air filter can also be mounted.
TOP-TIP : In combination with an air intake system for SI carburettor you will get enough air into the engine. Please check the clearance between the top of this carb box cover and the frame of your scooter before use to avoid damage to either. The distance can be adjusted/increased with the use of, separately available, shock absorber spacers. (#14987100)
