NOTE Never mix piston circlips, you must use the correct circlips for your piston, wire circlips have a round cross section and the grove in the piston for wire circlips are rounded to match the circlip profile, where as traditional circlips have a rectangular cross section and the grove in the piston for this type of circlip will be machined with a square profile to match the edge of the circlip.
