PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The first largeframe Vespa models produced with 10” wheel-rims were also factory-equipped with attractively-styled, protective metal panels for the steering assembly. These items were conceived to keep the throttle and gear changing-channelling free of dust and water and also protect the rider from dirt and grease. These important parts have been out of production for many decades and now they are back! The only alternatives were made of plastic by BAJAJ in India. For this reason we here at SIP have decided that its time to re-continue their production and have decided to have them manufactured faithful to the design of the originals, using brand-new press-moulds.
This set is for the round headlights included on the 1st series Vespa GTR 125/Sprint 150/Rally models. These are also fully compatible with the following Vespa models steering assemblies, along with the Vespa TS 125/Rally 200 models.
These protective panels are also available for Vespa models with a trapezoidal-shaped headlights included on the 1st series Vespa GT 125/GL 150/ Sprint V and SS 180 models.
SIP-TIP : Do not forget to lubricate the throttle and gear changing-channelling with grease while replacing the panels and to replace them if worn or damaged.
