This under carb gasket was originally used for all models from the VBB up to the PX, when they fitted the autolube pump in the air box they changed the carb fitting from studs to long bolts, after that they fitted a larger under carb gasket that fitted securely in the space to aid aligning up the carb bolts while fitting the carb,  This casket can be used for both autolube and non autolube models as the small hole for the oil is already made into these gaskets.

When working on the carburettor your existing paper seals can easily become damaged. The carburettor becomes leaky, drips and draws in undesired air. For this reason it is a good idea to use new gaskets in the case of reassembly. We stock the gaskets for the carburettor/carburettor casing and carburettor casing / engine for the SI 20.15-26-26 that are available both with and without holes for separate oil injection.
