Engine Gasket Set without Autolube
Description:
All gaskets in the engine should be exchanged in case of an engine overhaul. Simply grease the gaskets a little before positioning them on the casing in order to prevent them from being bent or damaged. Sealant is only to be used if the casing is somehow defect (scoring marks etc.). If an intact case does show leakage, this must arise from the case being distorted or warped. This may happen when screws have been unevenly tightened. Ideally, the casing halves should be tightened equally (crosswise!) with a torque wrench. Maximum torque according to Piaggio 6-8 Nm.
