The original steering columns included with Vespa 50/N/L/R models always had problems with brake-dive and the subsequent persistent bottoming-out of the original shock absorber. Up till now the only solution was to fight the effects rather than the cause by fitting either uprated springs or complete shock absorbers. This led Cristian from Crimaz to design and produce a shock absorber mounting adapter that alters the angle of the trailing-link, improving the overall geometry of the front suspension assembly. Alongside this clever adapter, stainless steel fixing bolts are also included in the delivery.
