Vibration damping rubbers for the Vespa T5 cylinder cooling fins.
The motor of the Vespa T5 model was not only equipped with a modernised internal cylinder concept but could also boast a number of other improved details. An example is provided by the arrangement and lengths of the cylinders cooling fins, designed to improve heat dissipation. To counter the cooling fins tendency to vibrate and reduce the volume of the noise this creates, slotted rubber strips were introduced to adorn the outer edges of the cylinders cooking fins. Regrettably the original vibration damping rubbers are long out of production. To alleviate this deficiency we here at SIP have decided to have them produced and made available as part of our extensive SIP Spare Parts range of components. A couple of small but essential details to properly complete the design of one of the most innovative Vespa models ever produced by PIAGGIO.
